We first met in December 2000 at a small integrated agency called Comma, then part of the Publicis empire.

Soon afterwards we began working together as a team and quickly realised that neither of us much liked the idea of ‘The Line’. What we wanted to do was to produce genuinely integrated work. Work that cut through this artificial, old-fashioned and divisive notion.

But like it or not, ‘The Line’ is still there and we have worked Below, Above and Through it.

We’ve won several awards for TV/film projects – including a Cannes Lion (Silver) and two gold British Arrows. We were also very pleased to get an Integrated Book Entry in D&AD for our Home Office anti-binge drinking work, as there was much more to the campaign than our telly ads alone.

Currently working at an agency with digital at its heart, we’re happy to find that the old boundaries are becoming increasingly blurred.

Regardless of the channel, our primary aim is to do work that gets people thinking, laughing, sharing – and crucially buying – whatever it is we’re talking about. Seems obvious, but it’s surprising how often the selling aspect of advertising creative work is underplayed.
